Action Buttons
The "Action Buttons" are essential elements of the user interface in online poker games, providing players with options to make betting decisions during each betting round. Here's a detailed description of these buttons and their functionalities:
Common Action Buttons
Check Allows a player to pass the action to the next player without placing a bet. It indicates that the player does not wish to bet or fold at the current time.
Bet Enables a player to place a wager by entering a specific amount of chips into the pot. The bet amount must meet the minimum bet requirement set for the current betting round.
Fold Allows a player to discard their hand and forfeit any further involvement in the current hand. The player loses any chips already contributed to the pot.
Call Enables a player to match the current bet amount made by another player. It indicates the player's intention to continue playing the hand by staying in the action.
Raise Allows a player to increase the current bet amount made by another player. The raise must be higher than the previous bet or raise amount, signaling aggressiveness and confidence in the hand.
Additional Action Buttons
All-In When a player's chip stack is less than the current bet or raise amount, the "All-In" button allows them to bet all of their remaining chips. It puts them at risk of losing the entire stack but keeps them eligible to win the portion of the pot they can cover.
Auto-Fold Players can opt to automatically fold their hand if they have not acted within a specified time frame. This feature helps streamline gameplay and prevent players from delaying the action unnecessarily.
Auto-Check/Call Players can choose to automatically check or call when it is their turn to act if no previous action has occurred in the betting round. This feature speeds up gameplay, especially in situations where no bets or raises have been made.
