Collusion and Detection
This module is designed to help administrators identify and investigate potential collusion between players. Collusion in poker occurs when two or more players work together to gain an unfair advantage over others. This section highlights relationships between players that may indicate soft play, chip dumping, or repeated participation at the same tables.
Component
Description
Purpose / Use
Player One
Displays the username of the first player in a suspicious pairing.
Identifies one side of the potential collusion link.
Player Two
Displays the username of the second player in a suspicious pairing.
Identifies the other side of the suspected collusion.
Table Overlapping
Shows if the two players have frequently participated in the same tables together.
Frequent overlaps can indicate coordinated play.
Soft Play
Flags situations where two players avoid betting aggressively against each other despite having strong hands.
Detects potential intentional cooperation to protect each other’s chips.
Chips Dumping
Flags cases where one player intentionally loses chips to another.
A common collusion tactic to transfer chip value between accounts.
Key Use Case
If Player One and Player Two are repeatedly found in the same games with a high table overlap percentage, show signs of soft play, and chips dumping is detected, this would strongly indicate collusion. Admins can then review hand histories, freeze accounts, and initiate compliance actions.
